Bradford’s holiday season will officially kick into high gear this week as the Bradford Area Chamber of Commerce confirmed today that the city’s annual Christmas Parade will return to Main Street this Friday at 6 p.m.
The beloved community tradition will feature floats, marching groups, local organizations, and a special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, who are scheduled to stop at Veterans Square to help light the downtown Christmas tree at the gazebo.
Chamber representatives emphasized that this year’s parade focuses on community pride and supporting local businesses. Many shops are preparing to stay open later on Friday so families can enjoy downtown before and after the festivities.
Residents are encouraged to arrive early for a good viewing spot and to dress warmly. Parking downtown is expected to be tight, so carpooling or walking is recommended.
The parade is sponsored by CNB Bank, with support from the Bradford Area Chamber of Commerce and the volunteers who help coordinate entries, crowd safety, and staging.
Editor’s Note — The Bradford Standard
Events like this remind us why small towns matter. When Main Street fills with families, neighbors, and bright lights, it’s proof that Bradford still shines brightest when we show up for each other. As always, we’ll be there capturing the moments — and we encourage you to share yours as well.
